Often referred as the neglected book in the New Testament. There are a number of reasons. 1. The size of the book is too small. Along with Philemon and 3 John are the smallest books in the New Testament. 2. Some of the bible verses are considered strange. Readers are puzzled by the reference to the Archangel Michael arguing over Moses’ body with Satan. The reference to Korah’s rebellion and to the angels locked in a dungeon seem obscure. 3. It is looked upon with suspicion and some take exception to the way Jude quotes the Apocrypha. 4. Jude comes across as negative and intolerant.
