You have orchestrated a situation in which an innocent man will be crucified because he made religious claims that you did not agree with. However, you still have serious concerns. So, after Jesus has died you go to Pontius Pilate. Pilate was the Roman Governor who presided over the trial and authorised the crucifixion of Jesus.
