The Daniel Plan

If you read Daniel 1:8-14 you will see how Daniel denied himself the rich, processed foods offered by the King and became very healthy.

Increased health is a great benefit to fasting as we aim to look after the vessel of the Holy Spirit we live in.

A greater benefit though is what will happen between you and Jesus as you fast and pray.  Your ability to hear from the Lord will increase as will the awareness of your purpose and His direction for you life. Often people choose to fast also for an area where they need a specific break through.

Over the 21 days you will discover some amazing benefits of fasting.  As God blesses your life, we encourage you to write down your prayers and experiences.  Praise God for the renewed relationship you have with Him and for the works He is doing in your life,  and prepare to experience the power of a renewed perspective for things He has in store for you.

Don’t worry it’s not 21 days without food!

Our fasting is known as “The Daniel Fast” – it’s a partial fast, which means that we will eliminate some common things from our daily diet, but will have generous options available.  We will focus on eating fruits and vegetables that are pure and simple.  We have included a list of foods to eat, and foods to avoid.
