The act or process of ministering is an important part of any church, we are blessed with many gifted leaders that are sometimes burdened with so much but still manage to keep RBC running smoothly with a smile.

Pastor Russell Watts

Pastor Russell and Juliette have a great marriage and three grown up children. Juliette is particularly gifted in teaching, intercession and prophecy. Pastor Russell has a love for teaching the word and seeing people transformed by God daily. He believes that the church is God’s missional community of faith and places a high value on relationships within the church and in the community.

Associate Pastor Tai Taua

Tai is happily married to his lovely wife of 10years Sharleen. They have 5 school aged children at home. Their hearts desire is to see their own children grow and walk in the ways of the Lord, and be examples to others. Tai heads the praise and worship ministry, and Sharleen is one of the worship leaders amongst the 7 teams establised at Ranui Baptist Church. Both are involved in Pastoral Care and are passionate and gifted in different areas of ministry, i.e. healing, deliverance, discernment, evangelism etc. They are so happy and blessed to be serving at Ranui Baptist Church amongst a wonderful, active and loving church family reaching out and helping the community, giving glory to our Father in heaven in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Youth Development Workers/Youth Pastors – Michael & Agnes Liufau Michael and Agnes have a great marriage.  They have been married for 8 years.  They have 3 precious boys in primary school who love the Lord.  Michael has just finished a Bachelor of Ministry with Laidlaw College.  They are studying part time at Laidlaw college this year and they also lead the Youth Ministry together.  They love people, music and the Lord. Michael is especially passionate about young people, evangelism and discipleship. Agnes is a gifted pastor who loves people.  She loves being with people, and meeting new people.  She also loves art and music.  Her passion is to see people cared for, help people know Jesus and grow strong in him.

Elder: Graham Davis

Graham is the Community Support Worker for Ranui Baptist Community Care. He took on this role after many years of success in business. The elders of Ranui Baptist Church and the Trustees of Ranui Baptist Community Care, recognised Graham’s gifting and his relationship with West Auckland Community Leaders and asked him to undertake Chaplaincy Training and to operate as a Community Chaplain in Ranui. Graham has now become a key person in establishing and operating our social services and community services through Ranui Baptist Community Care. His years in business have equipped him with the necessary skills to network with stakeholders at all levels in the West Auckland Social Services community. Further to this, Graham’s chaplaincy training has formalised his gifting in relating to the needy people who come for help every day.

Elder: Carol Dawson

Carol is married to Ian, they have grown up children and in recent years have become Grandparents. Carol is significantly gifted in prophecy, pastoral care and in worship. Carol has a passion to see folk in the church and those being drawn into the church extremely well cared for.

Elder: Peter Soole

Peter is happily married to Carole, with two children and three grandchildren. His years of experience as a High School Teacher and H.O.D. Science have added to his wisdom and grace in handling pastoral issues. His gifts of teaching, wisdom and prophecy in particular bring on-going encouragement to the church.  Enjoys supporting his son in mechanic workshop, family, outdoor expeditions and seeing people grow.  R.B.C. Trust member.

Elder: Graeme Stewart

Married with three older children and a Christian for over 38 years. Fervent in pursuing God’s purposes by serving in the Church, has over the past few years participated as Children’s’ Church co-ordinator, trustee and chairman of Ranui Baptist Community Trust, Community Ministries Team Leader and Foodbank Co-ordinator for the Church as well as voluntary Shipping logistics co-ordinator for Mission Without Borders (NZ). “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John Ch 8,v36 (NKJV)

 

Elder: Glenda Winn

Glenda has been in areas of spiritual leadership for years having founded Day Spring Trust who continue to give direction, intercessory prayer and pastoral care to a huge number of people.  Glenda operates clearly by hearing the Holy Spirit and helps others to do so as well, bringing healing to many.
